A DREAM OF HEAVEN
This is heaven, as the sun will never set
Of the dark and its evils I need not fret
The trees with leaves to give the shade
Flowers with colours that will not fade
Crystal clear water from a fountain
Rippling rivers from the mountain
The roads are paved with pure gold
With ivory palaces to behold
Animals all around, of every kind
And all so very tame you will find
The Lion and the Lamb together
They will be friends forever
Children laughing birds singing
Joy to this blessed place bringing
No more tears no more sighing
No more pain no more dying
A city called the new Jerusalem
Shining like a precious gem
Only those who stand without shame
In the book of life will find their name
I see His face shining like the sun
His hair white as wool nothing undone
This must be heaven this must be
As everything is perfect just waiting for me
